Here's what we pour and how we go about it.
Curb and gutter has to hold grade or water sits in the street. We set string lines off the survey stakes, form or slip it to spec, and finish the face and flow line by hand.
Public walks, front walks and paths across the yard. Joints are cut at regular spacing so cracks land where they're supposed to, and we leave a broom finish so it isn't slick when wet.
Most residential driveways get a compacted base, reinforcement and about 4 inches of concrete. If you park a truck, trailer or RV on it, we'll talk about going thicker.
We work with general contractors and property owners on building slabs, loading areas, dumpster pads and site concrete. Tell us your schedule and spec and we'll price it to that.
Back patios, porch slabs, steps, and pads for hot tubs or HVAC units. We'll mark it out with you first so the size and slope away from the house are right before anything gets poured.
It's the second word in our name. Some contractors pour and rush off. We stay until the finish is right: smooth trowel indoors, broom outdoors, clean tooled edges.
